The secondary identification forms or documents need to be validated by at least two of the following documents:
-Once you’ve received the copy of your own criminal history record, you must review it, identify any incomplete, inaccurate, or missing court information, and request the court where your case was held to submit any corrected information to the DOJ -Bureau of Criminal Information and Analysis (BCIA).
The instructions written in the letter included with your copy of the criminal history record should be followed for disputing inaccuracies.
-You can also choose to designate your legal counsel to receive a copy of your criminal history record (pursuant to Penal Code section 11124.)
